FREE Bookplates (Children’s and Adults)
The bookplate is a disappearing tradition. Maybe folks don’t own enough books or take pride in them as they once did. Maybe the end of the rarity or novelty of owning them also ended the pride of marking them. Whatever the case I find bookplates truly cool and as such have started drawing them in my own books and sketchbooks. As time permits I’ll scan and post some of them here, for your personal use. Here’s a starter set.

Books equal Christmas, right? So repurposing this year's Christmas Card as a book plate/tag just made sense

Inspired by a cat sleeping amongst the dusty books in a San Francisco bookstore window. Only feedback so far was 'hey, too big' so here's a differently sized bookplate

Sorry -- this one is a bit raw, though this more closely resembles what they look like in my books. s'pose i should clean it up at some point. There is a story that goes with this -- along the lines of 'what was the very loud, rude noise?'
